Led by Jack Suwinski, the Texas Vipers downed the New York Sharks, 12-5. Suwinski was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Vipers. Texas is now 16-18, New York 14-20.

With Texas leading 2-1 in the top of the third, Suwinski hit a changeup from Bailey Ober for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Vipers ahead, 6-1.

"Winning never gets dull," said Suwinski.
