Starting pitcher Lucas Giolito pitched well enough to help the Toronto Hogs beat the Chicago Explorers, 6-3. Kenley Jansen got credit for the save for Toronto. It was his 10th of the year. With the victory, the Hogs upped their record to 24-13.

The Hogs got a big at-bat from center fielder Michael Harris II. For the game, Harris II went 1-4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Toronto a 4-2 lead.

"I felt good up there," said Harris II. "I saw the ball well."
