Bulldogs Earn 6-3 Win Versus Baltimore
The Georgia Bulldogs handed the Baltimore Wildcats a 6-3 defeat at Toyota Field. Catcher Ben Rice starred for Georgia. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Clarke Schmidt, who finished 2nd in the FL in ERA with 3.17 last year, was the winner. He's now 2-3. The loser was Shane Baz. With the win over Baltimore, the Bulldogs improved to 16-21.

Georgia used the clutch hitting of Luis Robert Jr. to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bulldogs ahead, 6-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

Georgia manager Kevin Clawson praised his team's "businesslike approach."
