Spencer Schwellenbach pitched a gem to lead Oakland to victory over the Los Angeles Spirit, 3-1. Raisel Iglesias was credited with the save for Oakland, his 13th of the season. With the win, Oakland raised its record to 27-10.

The Roses got a big at-bat from right fielder Kyle Tucker. For the game, Tucker went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Oakland a 2-0 lead.
