Series Lead Cut to 1 for San Francisco After 15-4 Loss
Already down in the Round 2, the Washington Hitmen put on their best show, beating the San Francisco Dragons by a final score of 15-4. Oneil Cruz was special. He went 5-5 with a home run, a double, and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Washington now trails San Francisco 2-1 in the best-of-5 affair.

One pivotal at-bat came with no one out in the top of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd and San Francisco trailing 3-0, Paul Skenes needed to bear down against Jhonny Pereda. Skenes won the battle, as Pereda hit into a double play and the Hitmen went on to win.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at RFK Stadium in Washington.
