Raucous Chrysler Canyon Crowd Propels Jaguars to 4-2 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Portland Jaguars and the Seattle Sting will take the Round 2 to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Jaguars beat the Sting, 4-2, at Chrysler Canyon to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Portland left-hander Chris Sale had a big role in the win. He threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball.

With one out in the bottom of the fifth, Alex Bregman barreled up a cutter from Nick Martinez. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Jaguars in front, 4-1.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Portland manager Darren Meserve. "That's what Chris is right now."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Boeing Field in Seattle.
