Minutemen Move on to Round 3
It took a while, but the Boston Minutemen finally disposed of the San Francisco Dragons 5-3 in the series clincher at Pac Bell Park.

Winning the finale gave the Minutemen the series, 3-2. They will now advance to the Round 3.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Boston left fielder Randy Arozarena. He batted .353 in the series, collecting 5 RBIs and scoring 4 runs.

The Boston Minutemen will play against the Tampa Bay Bandits in the next round. Tampa Bay won their series against the Montreal PoorBoys 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
