Rutschman Powers Jaguars to 7-5 Win
Getting a good performance from catcher Adley Rutschman, the Portland Jaguars defeated the Seattle Sting, 7-5. Rutschman went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Jaguars. The save was credited to Tanner Gordon, his 1st. Portland is 18-21 and Seattle, with the loss, 20-19.

Early in the game, Rutschman had a 2-run home run for Portland. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Jaguars on top, 2-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Rutschman told the Portland News.
