Boston Beats San Diego in 12-Inning Thriller
The Boston Minutemen beat the San Diego Snakeyes, 11-8, in 12 innings. Boston first baseman Kris Bryant, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 4 for 6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Boston reliever Matt Moore was the winner. His record is now 4-4. Carl Edwards Jr. took the loss. Boston now has a record of 75-69 with the win.

Boston used the hitting of Anthony Santander to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Minutemen on top, 10-8. For the game, Santander had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Minutemen manager Tony Byrne.
