The Philadelphia Phalanx stopped the Boston Minutemen, 7-3, at Fenway Park. The Phalanx got a big game from Mike Tauchman, who went 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Logan Allen picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-2. Joe Ryan was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Phalanx improved to 63-86.
With Philadelphia leading 3-2 in the top of the third, Tauchman hit a changeup from Joe Ryan for a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Phalanx ahead, 6-2.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Tauchman said after the game.
