The Minnesota Millers picked up a win at Target Field, knocking off the Bronx Bombers, 7-0. On the mound for Minnesota was right-hander Sandy Alcantara. He played a key role in the triumph. The win gives Minnesota a season record of 86-66.

The Millers got a big hit from catcher Mike Zunino. Facing Bronx pitcher Bowden Francis in the bottom of the eighth, Zunino pounded a 3-run home run to right-center. His 7th home run of the season put the Millers ahead, 7-0.

"I really like what we did out there today," Zunino said after the game.
