Explorers Win Squeaker, 11-10, Over Bandits
|
Chicago first baseman Sean Bouchard made his presence felt in the 11-10 Explorers triumph over the Tampa Bay Bandits. Bouchard went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The first-place Bandits have lost 4 consecutive games.
Kyle Farmer, who is tied for 7th in the UL in doubles with 13, helped out the Chicago cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Tampa Bay manager George Hoffman said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score in double digits, you expect to win the game."
