6 Straight Wins for Ironmen
Pittsburgh went toe-to-toe with Anaheim before a winner was decided.

Anaheim designated hitter Nolan Gorman had a good game, even if his team did not. The Diamonds dropped a 7-6 decision to Pittsburgh at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Gorman was 3 for 6 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The last-place Ironmen have won 6 straight.

Pittsburgh took a 7-6 lead on Andrew Benintendi's 33rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Benintendi hit in the top of the 16th, left Anaheim pitcher Trevor May visibly frustrated.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Benintendi.
