McMahon Swings Spirit to 7-0 Win
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Philadelphia Phalanx and Los Angeles Spirit get after it.
The Los Angeles Spirit defeated the Philadelphia Phalanx, 7-0. Doing his part was third baseman Ryan McMahon, who was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The last-place Spirit now have a win-loss record of 72-87.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when McMahon hit a run-scoring double off Bailey Falter. It propelled the Spirit into the lead, 1-0.
"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said McMahon.
