Guerrero Jr. goes 3-for-4, Leads Ironmen to Win
|
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was a major factor in the 11-7 Pittsburgh win over New York. The Ironmen first baseman went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 3. The Sharks, at 79-80, have lost 4 in a row.
Early in the game, shortstop Dansby Swanson had a grand slam home run for Pittsburgh. It was his 24th home run of the season and put the Ironmen on top, 4-0.
"We came out aggressive," said Ironmen manager Nick Smith. "We came out swinging the bats."
