A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Toronto Hogs and Anaheim Diamonds.

The Toronto Hogs topped the Anaheim Diamonds, 5-2, in Union League action at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The game was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Anthony Veneziano. Hoby Milner got the save, his 16th in 25 chances.

Toronto used the hitting of Christian Yelich to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Hogs on top, 3-0. For the game, Yelich had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Toronto manager Anthony Cepparulo. "That's what Anthony is right now."

The Hogs now own a record of 68-94.
