The San Diego Snakeyes beat the San Francisco Dragons, 9-5, at Petco Park. The Snakeyes got a fine performance from catcher Christian Bethancourt, who went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Nick Pivetta, who is tied for 9th in the FL with a 8.8 K/9 rate, was the winner. He's now 12-11. The loser was Robert Gasser. San Diego is 76-86 and San Francisco, with the loss, 94-68.

Bobby Dalbec chipped in a 2-run home run for San Diego in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.
