The Phoenix Firebirds downed the Baltimore Wildcats, 8-2, at Chase Field. Trent Grisham led the way, going 2-for-2 for Phoenix. The winning pitcher was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Reid Detmers. He tossed 89 pitches over 5.2 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. Phoenix has run its win streak to 4 straight.
