The home crowd had a good time watching the Boston Minutemen and Chicago Explorers get after it.

Chicago right-hander Grayson Rodriguez pitched his team to victory over the Boston Minutemen at Baron's Ballyard. The final score was 5-3. With the win, Chicago pushed its record to 26-21.

Sean Bouchard had a big run-scoring double for the Explorers in the bottom of the third inning. With Chicago leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Ryan and swatted a double to center. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Explorers ahead, 2-0.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Rodriguez said.
