Montreal registered a win at Chrysler Canyon by beating the Portland Jaguars, 6-2. Pitcher Kutter Crawford was one reason why the PoorBoys triumphed. Crawford, now 2-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Edwin Uceta picked up the save, his 2nd.

Montreal used the hitting of Christian Walker to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the PoorBoys on top, 2-0. For the game, Walker had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Kutter -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said PoorBoys manager Garrett Woolsey. "He was the key to us winning."

The PoorBoys now have a record of 22-26 with the win over Portland.
