Los Angeles Deals Ramirez to San Francisco for McGuire Monday, April 7th , 2025 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Spirit announced today the acquisition of 38-year old minor league LF Charlie Blackmon, 30-year old minor league C Reese McGuire, and 21-year old minor league LHP Gage Jump from the San Francisco Dragons in exchange for 23-year old minor league RHP Jawilme Ramirez. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Spirit, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his 479-game career McGuire has hit .222 with 363 hits, 23 home runs, and 173 RBIs and has scored 150 runs. |
