Season-Ending Injury for Mike Trout
Monday, June 23rd , 2025
The Denver Bears were dealt a severe blow when Mike Trout was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Carolina Riptides. After the game, the team trainer reported Trout might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 33-year-old designated hitter out for the rest of the season with a severely strained hip muscle. They indicated it would take Trout at least 4 months to heal.

Trout has a .270 average and a .365 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 76 hits, 20 home runs and driven in 62 runs.
