June's Best Starter Named in UL Tuesday, July 1st , 2025 A 5-1 record with a 2.97 ERA is a good month for most any pitcher. The Union League thought it was worthy of an award and named Yusei Kikuchi, starter for the New York Sharks, June's Pitcher of the Month. He also held the opposition to a .241 average while posting 32 strikeouts in 36.1 innings. In 16 starts this year, Kikuchi has fashioned a 8-4 record and a 3.75 ERA. |
