Torkelson and Valenzuela Swapped Wednesday, July 2nd , 2025 Portland and Seattle announced some roster changes today as the Jaguars acquired 27-year old minor league RHP Gavin Hollowell, 24-year old minor league C Brandon Valenzuela, and 20-year old minor league 2B Rosman Verdugo from the Sting in exchange for 25-year old 1B Spencer Torkelson. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Currently Torkelson is hitting .252 and has collected 13 home runs, 40 RBIs and scored 39 times, while playing in 76 games. |
