Philadelphia's Buxton Down with Injury Thursday, July 10th , 2025 Byron Buxton of the Philadelphia Phalanx was injured in today's game against Boston and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a fractured foot, and he is expected to be out for up to 3 weeks. It happened while Buxton was being hit by a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." So far this season, Buxton is hitting .251 with 16 home runs, 42 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 327 at-bats and a .312 OBP. |
