Polanco Tags 3 HR Against Bears Sunday, July 20th , 2025 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Coors Field buzzing, Oakland Roses second baseman Jorge Polanco blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 9-6, over the Denver Bears. "Everything was clicking," Polanco told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Polanco shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Roses manager Herb Pilgrim said. "Jorge played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Jorge Polanco hit a solo-shot off Brayan Bello in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Brayan Bello in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Helsley in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. In the 2025 season Polanco is hitting .271 with 18 home runs. |
