Sultan of Swing: Aranda Goes Deep 3 Times
Wednesday, July 30th , 2025
Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Sting-Diamonds game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Seattle first baseman Jonathan Aranda thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Seattle to a win, 9-2, over Anaheim.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Aranda said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Aranda was 3-for-5 on the day with 6 RBI.
Jonathan Aranda hit a GRAND SLAM off Tyler Glasnow in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Mark Leiter Jr. in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Brennan Bernardino in the 9th.
To date this year, Aranda is batting .303 with 4 home runs.
