Toronto's De La Cruz Chosen UL Batter of the Month Friday, August 1st , 2025 Toronto Hogs fans believe they've got a talented young star in Elly De La Cruz. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .333 with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and 17 runs scored. The end result was the shortstop being named the Union League Batter of the Month. This season, De La Cruz has hit at a .299 clip with 64 RBIs, 19 home runs and 51 runs scored. He has played in 87 games. |
