July's Premier Rookie Named by FL Friday, August 1st , 2025 Swinging a hot stick in July, David Fry picked up the Federal League Rookie of the Month Award today. The 29-year-old catcher for Philadelphia lashed 22 hits as he put together a .355 average with 7 home runs. He also drove in 14 runs, scored 15 times and drew 9 walks on his way to a .452 OBP. In 79 games this season, Fry has batted at a .275 pace with 76 hits and 15 home runs. |
