Luis Severino Lost for Season Sunday, August 10th , 2025 Luis Severino will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Oakland starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Severino was injured while throwing a pitch in the Roses-Minutemen clash at Fan's Ballyard recently. Doctors said he has a sore shoulder and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months.
This year, Severino has worked 120.1 innings with 104 strikeouts en route to a 7-7 record and a 5.39 ERA.
