FL Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 11th , 2025 San Diego fans have something to crow about today as San Diego first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino nabbed the Federal League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Pasquantino. He posted a .500 average (12-for-24) this past week with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. Currently Pasquantino is batting .284 with 123 hits and 20 home runs. He has knocked in 64 runs and scored 58 times. |
