Bombers Bell Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, April 16th , 2025 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Bronx's 14-8 win over San Diego, first baseman Josh Bell was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Magnum Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Bell said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Josh Bell singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
