Edwards Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, August 30th , 2025 Xavier Edwards extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games in the 3-2 Cincinnati triumph over the Oakland Roses. The 26-year-old Stars third baseman collected 1 hit in 5 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Xavier Edwards grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Edwards is hitting .298 for the season with 4 home runs, 52 RBIs and 73 runs scored. He has 155 hits in 521 at-bats and played in 125 games. |
