UL Pitcher of the Month Goes to Estrada Monday, September 1st , 2025 When Chicago reliever Jeremiah Estrada was called in from the bullpen in August, it was "lights out" for the other team. He usually put a quick stop to any potential rallies. For his solid mound work he was chosen the Union League Pitcher of the Month. The Chicago Explorers reliever had 11 saves for the month with a 1-1 record and 0.73 ERA. He made 14 relief appearances, hurled 12.1 innings, yielded 7 hits, fanned 13 and walked 7. Estrada has nailed down 33 saves for the year. He has also totaled 63 strikeouts and 24 walks in 54 innings while registering a 2.50 ERA and a 3-5 won-lost record. |
