Langford Stretches Hit String to 20 Thursday, September 4th , 2025 Wyatt Langford of the Oakland Roses extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 6-4 triumph over the Bronx Bombers at Fan's Ballyard. "Wyatt has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Roses manager Herb Pilgrim joked after the game. Wyatt Langford struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. This year, Langford is hitting .307 with 18 home runs and 60 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .364 clip and scored 70 runs. |
