Injury Setback for Ironmen Bichette Tuesday, September 16th , 2025 "It's worse than we thought." That was the news from the Ironmen clubhouse today as it was learned that shortstop Bo Bichette will be out for an added one week as a result of a recent injury. His treatment for a strained triceps will have to be extended. Initially it didn't seem the injury was a major concern, but the Pittsburgh shortstop told team trainers of some discomfort yesterday morning, and upon examination it was determined to be a more serious injury. "We'd rather take this thing slowly and make sure Bo gets back onto the field healthy," said the team's head trainer. This year, Bichette is hitting .286, produced 43 RBIs and 7 home runs, scored 58 times and gotten on base at a .322 rate. |
