Season Possibly Over for Garrett Whitlock Sunday, September 21st , 2025 When Garrett Whitlock was hurt against the St Louis Sluggers, the Philadelphia Phalanx were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 29-year-old reliever suffered a fractured elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Whitlock would miss 6-7 months of the season. This year, Garrett Whitlock has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 10-7 won-lost mark and a 4.46 ERA. In pitching 159.1 innings, he has totaled 139 strikeouts and 33 walks. |
