Playoff Bound: Portland Secures Wild Card Friday, October 3rd , 2025 The Portland Jaguars are celebrating a trip to the postseason and say they plan to make the most of the opportunity. The team officially clinched a wild card berth today and third baseman Alex Bregman said they are "looking forward to making some noise" in the playoffs. "There's nothing better than postseason baseball," he said. "We hope to go on a deep run and give our fans in Portland something to be excited about." For now, excitement is running high as the team's 82-80 record has clinched the playoff position and the team has a chance to win its 1st Continental Baseball Association championship. |
