Oakland Takes Round 2 in Deciding Game
Wednesday, October 15th , 2025
The fans in Oakland are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Houston.

The Oakland Roses finished off the Houston Titans 9-6 in the deciding game of the Round 2 played at New League Park.

They took the series 3-2 and will now head to the Round 3.

For his standout play, Oakland first baseman Nathaniel Lowe was voted the series' Most Valuable Player.

He batted .400, drove in 4 runs and scored 2 to lead his club to victory.

"We could never really figure out how to pitch to Lowe and that doomed us," said Titans manager Stephen Strzepek. "Hats off to Oakland, though. That was a great series."

The Oakland Roses will play against the Seattle Sting in the next round. Seattle won their series against the Portland Jaguars 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
