Georgia Snaps Acuna Jr. Streak at 21
Friday, April 25th , 2025
After 21 games, Ronald Acuna Jr. had his hitting streak ended abruptly by the Georgia Bulldogs at Pac Bell Park. The San Francisco Dragons right fielder failed to get a hit in 2 at-bats, bringing his tenure in the national spotlight to a halt.

Despite the tough day at the plate, Acuna Jr. seemed unconcerned after the game, talking instead about the Dragons beating the Bulldogs, 6-5.

"It was good while it lasted," Acuna Jr. said. "If it had to end, I'm glad it ended with a victory."

This year, Acuna Jr. has 8 home runs and a .419 batting average.
