Year Ends for Ryan Gusto in Houston Saturday, March 14th , 2026
The doctors have spoken and Ryan Gusto of the Houston Titans didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Gusto sustained his season-ending injury during the Oakland Roses game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Houston medical staff reported Gusto had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months.
