Carolina-Georgia Announce Deal Saturday, April 4th , 2026 Reports have surfaced that Carolina has agreed to send 29-year old RHP Nick Sandlin to the Georgia Bulldogs in exchange for 22-year old minor league RHP Joel Diaz. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. In his career, Sandlin has made 84 appearances with a 1-6 record and tossed 74.2 innings with 75 strikeouts. Batters have hit .274 against him, his lifetime ERA stands at 5.54 and he has accumulated 2 saves. |
