Explorers Trey Cabbage Down and Out for Year Monday, April 20th , 2026 When Chicago first baseman Trey Cabbage was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Explorers-Snakeyes game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Cabbage had sustained a torn posterior cruciate ligament and will be out for about 10 months.
