Year Over for Snakeyes Ray
Sunday, April 26th , 2026
When San Diego starting pitcher Robbie Ray was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Snakeyes-Stars game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Ray had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 12-13 months.
So far in 5 appearances this season, Ray has recorded 2 wins and sustained 2 losses. He has pitched 24 innings, yielded 18 hits, fanned 21 and has a 4.50 ERA.
