Deal: Bellinger for Williams Friday, June 19th , 2026 Trade winds have been blowing through New York. This time, a deal has materialized between the Sharks and Riptides. According to sources inside the organization, New York will ship 30-year old 1B Cody Bellinger to Carolina for 31-year old 3B Ryan McMahon, 22-year old minor league SS Carson Williams, 24-year old minor league 3B Jonathon Long, and 20-year old minor league RHP Braylon Doughty. So far this year, Bellinger is batting .249 with 13 home runs, 29 RBIs and 36 runs scored. This season, Williams is swinging the bat at a .118 rate with 4 hits in 34 at-bats.
