Injury Setback for Jaguars Verlander Monday, May 5th , 2025 Portland starting pitcher Justin Verlander reportedly suffered a setback this week while rehabilitating shoulder inflammation. Preliminary tests showed the injury had gotten worse and would need more time to be completely healed. An unidentified team official said it looked like it would be at least 8 months before Verlander would be able to return to the active roster. Verlander will see a specialist tomorrow. Justin Verlander is expected to undergo surgery in Portland(Oregon) tomorrow. |
