Tampa Bay's Alvarez Chosen FL Batter of the Month Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Yordan Alvarez, the Tampa Bay left fielder, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .333 batting average with 35 hits, 11 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 27 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Federal League Batter of the Month honors for August.
