Skubal Misses Time with Day-to-Day Injury Monday, September 28th , 2026 Is Tarik Skubal going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out one week as the outstanding Carolina starting pitcher attempts to shrug off a tender shoulder he sustained throwing a pitch against the Oakland Roses. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Skubal feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Carolina Riptides will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. This season, Skubal has fanned 249 in 212.1 innings and collected a 16-3 record with a 2.20 ERA. |
