Tampa Bay Rookie Top Vote-Getter in FL Sunday, June 1st , 2025 The best rookie has been named for May -- and the winner is Cade Cavalli. The Federal League presented the trophy to him today in a press conference. It was a sparkling 4-0 record that brought the Tampa Bay starter the Rookie of the Month award. Cavalli stood out last month with a 4.31 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 31.1 innings, fanned 27 and held opposing batters to a .250 average.
