Thursday, June 5th , 2025
Blake Snell of the San Francisco Dragons was injured in today's game against Houston and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a ruptured finger tendon, and he is expected to be out for up to 4 months. It happened while Snell was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
This season, Snell has fashioned a 6-2 mark and 2.01 ERA in 62.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .221 against him and he has logged 79 strikeouts.
